Amedisys is seeking individuals with the following qualifications to join our team:
- Fully vaccinated (all doses of the primary series recommended by the vaccine manufacturer, plus any applicable boosters)[i], and
- Reliable transportation.
On-the-spot interviews and offers are available for qualified candidates. Candidates offered positions will begin employment as a Homemaker and are able to begin training immediately to become a certified Personal Care Attendant (PCA), then a Home Health Aide (HHA). Potential to progress within 6 months! The following positions are available:
- Homemakers
- Personal Care Attendant (PCA), starting wage $16.50/hour[ii]
- Home Health Aide (HHA), starting wage $17.50/hour[ii]
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), starting wage $17.50/hour[ii]
Training and certification is offered in-house at no cost.

[ii] Candidates are able to earn up to $18.00 / hour depending on experience or successful completion of training.
